The 2012-2013 season marks the twelfth year of Brain Busters, the TV quiz show sponsored by Westfield Insurance. Hosted by Rich Rosen, the show features competing high school teams, and airs on Saturdays at 12:30—with an occasional double-header at 1 p.m.—on WGAL-TV, Channel 8.

About Host Rich Rosen
Brain Busters marked Rich's return to WGAL. In 1993, he moved to the Susquehanna Valley and worked with WGAL Channel 8 as host of the successful campaign, HomeTrends, offering home improvement ideas. Academics and education have always been important to Rich. He was valedictorian of his high school class in Oak Park, Michigan and attended The University of Michigan where he graduated With Distinction in Speech, Communication and Theatre. History of Brain Busters
Brain Busters, a high school quiz show developed by Rich Rosen and WGAL Channel 8, began airing in January 2002. Rich and WGAL teamed with sponsor Westfield Insurance in 2008 to continue with the tradition of celebrating academic achievement in our schools.
