Brain GameBrain Game is a weekly quiz show for high school students that airs at 7 p.m., on Saturdays, on NBC affiliate WTHR-13 Indianapolis. WTHR's lead meteorologist, Chris Wright, hosts the show.

The History of Brain Game

Chris Wright has hosted the Brain Game since 2000. Bob Gregory was the original host of the program from its start in 1972 until 2000. It was filmed at the Fairbanks Center at Butler University until 2008, when it moved the WTHR studios on Meridian Street in Indianapolis, and started filming in HD. Westfield Insurance began sponsoring the Brain Game in the 2006-07 season.

The Brain Game was nominated for a Regional Emmy in 2001 for best On Camera Talent - Non News, in 2003 for best Children/Youth Program - Regularly Scheduled, in 2004 for best Children/Youth Program - Regularly Scheduled, and in 2007 for best Children/Youth Program.
